Welcome to the Community Medicine Department at Vyas Medical College, where we are dedicated to training future physicians to become community-responsive primary care providers. Our mission is to equip medical students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the health care needs of diverse communities, including urban and rural areas, with a focus on underserved populations.

In our department, we emphasize the importance of maintaining, promoting, protecting, improving, and restoring the health of families within the community. Through early diagnosis, identification of environmental and occupational hazards, and disease prevention efforts, we strive to achieve optimal community health outcomes.

Our comprehensive curriculum follows the recommendations of the Medical Council of India (MCI) and provides training from the first year of MBBS through to internship. Teaching and training activities include didactic lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, case presentations, seminars, institutional clinical meetings, laboratory sessions, field visits, family surveys, and outreach healthcare training at urban, rural, and primary health centers.
